When an interview or application deadline is approaching, it helps to know exactly what needs attention. Aureus provides focused Oxford and Cambridge interview preparation and US application support, alongside the student’s school and existing preparation.
For Oxford and Cambridge interviews
The aim is to help your child discuss the subject, explain their reasoning and respond to a new idea. Preparation should include unfamiliar questions and feedback they can act on, with time to practise between sessions.
Ask three questions when choosing support: who understands the subject, what will the first session diagnose, and how will later work respond to that diagnosis? More mocks are useful only when the student learns something transferable from them.
For US college applications
A strong application requires more than a polished personal essay. The college list, activities, supplements and supporting documents must fit together and meet the requirements of each institution. Start by separating completed work from work that still needs development.
Aureus can help with topic selection, essay structure, university-specific research and final application review. The student remains the author: useful support clarifies their experiences and thinking without replacing their voice.

Aureus Education was founded by Siddhant Nagrath, an Oxford PPE graduate from Keble College and former Oxford Union Secretary. The company brings together admissions and subject specialists for long-term programmes and focused support at decisive stages.

01Can support work alongside the school counsellor?+
Yes. Aureus can focus on a specific stage or skill, such as interview preparation, a personal essay or university supplements. We agree the scope around the support already in place.
02Do we need to buy a full admissions programme?+
No. Interview-only and focused application support are available. The recommendation depends on the student’s preparation, target and time remaining.
03What should we send initially?+
Share the course or university list, the nearest deadline and what is already complete. For interviews, include the subject and any invitation. For US applications, explain which essays or application sections need attention. Materials can be discussed directly after the initial enquiry.
04How are fees and availability agreed?+
We establish the work required and confirm the appropriate specialist, scope and commercial terms before the programme begins. A near-term deadline does not remove the need for a realistic brief.
